Patchkábel Helos 191273 S/FTP Cat6a 20,0 m

Shielded patch cable helos 191273 S/FTP Cat6a 20.0 m is a 20‑metre network cable designed for high‑speed wired Ethernet links. It conforms to Cat6a performance parameters and uses an S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable is intended for installations that require stable 10/1 Gbps connections over longer horizontal and patching runs, and it is compatible with common RJ45 network hardware such as switches, routers and patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external noise and near‑end crosstalk compared with unshielded variants, which helps maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Cat6a bandwidth capability supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at distances typical for workplace and server-room patching. A 20.0 m length accommodates flexible routing between cabinets, desks and equipment racks without the need for intermediate joins. The cable’s construction and termination are suitable for professional installation standards, providing durable performance for network backbone and access runs.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet patching between switches and servers
• Long workplace or office runs where a 20 m length is needed
• Shielded installations in industrial or high‑EMI environments
• Connections to patch panels, routers and managed switches

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 20.0 m
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps over specified distances
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Route the helos S/FTP Cat6a patch cable between the two network endpoints, avoiding sharp bends and compressive forces near the connectors. Insert the RJ45 plugs securely into the corresponding ports on switches, routers or patch panels until the latch clicks. For best performance in shielded setups, ensure that connected equipment and patch panels provide proper grounding for the cable shielding. Do not exceed recommended bend radius or subject the cable to repeated flexing that may damage the internal pairs.

Recommendations

For consistent 10 Gbps operation, use the patch cable within certified channel configurations and combine it with compatible Cat6a components (shielded jacks, patch panels and grounded equipment). Avoid running the cable in parallel with high‑voltage power lines; if crossing is necessary, do so at a right angle to minimise interference. Inspect terminations periodically in professional installations to confirm shielding continuity and secure connections.
