Patchkábel U/UTP CAT6 5 m – LOGON

LOGON U/UTP CAT6 patch cable, 5 meters, is a versatile network cable designed to deliver Cat6 performance for Ethernet connections. This unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) cable is intended for patching tasks within LAN environments and supports reliable data transfer for 1 Gbps networks in both office and home installations. The cable connects switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling setups and provides consistent electrical characteristics suitable for standard Ethernet use.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat6-class transmission parameters with reduced crosstalk compared to lower-category cables, ensuring stable gigabit connections over typical horizontal runs. Its 5 m length provides flexibility for common patching scenarios without excess slack, while the unshielded design simplifies installation in environments where shielding is not required. Standard RJ45 terminations maintain compatibility with existing network hardware and structured cabling components.

Suitable for

• Patching between switch and patch panel in office racks
• Connecting PCs, printers or IP phones to wall outlets
• Home networking where gigabit Ethernet is needed
• Temporary or permanent connections in small to medium LANs

Key specifications

• Cabling type: Unshielded Twisted Pair (U/UTP)
• Category: Cat6
• Length: 5 m
• Connector: RJ45 on both ends
• Supported speeds: up to 1 Gbps (typical for Cat6 patching)
• Usage environment: indoor structured cabling and patching

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug into the network port of each device until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large electrical equipment. For rack or cabinet installations, use cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors and maintain orderly patching. Verify link lights on network devices to confirm successful connection and correct network operation.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables over long distances; maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter and use appropriate cable management. In environments with high interference, consider shielded cabling options if needed. Regularly inspect connector ends for damage and replace the cable if connectors become loose or pins are bent.
