How to use

Power off the PC and unplug it from mains. Open the case, insert the PCI Express card into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it with the bracket screw. If required, replace the standard bracket with the included low profile bracket for mini PCs. Close the case and reconnect power. Install the appropriate drivers on Windows 10 or 8.1 if the operating system does not automatically recognise the device. After driver installation, connect the parallel peripheral to the external IEEE1284 port and configure the device in the operating system as needed.

Recommendations

Use a shielded parallel cable of appropriate length to reduce interference. For reliable operation, install the latest drivers provided by the system or device manufacturer and ensure the PCIe slot is compatible with the card before installation.
