PLANET IGS-1600T nem menedzselt switch

The PLANET IGS-1600T is an unmanaged L2 Gigabit Ethernet switch with 16 10/100/1000T ports in a rugged IP30 metal housing. Designed for industrial deployments, it offers wide voltage input (12–48V DC or 24V AC), a compact wall- or DIN-rail-mountable form factor and an operating temperature range from -40 to 75 °C. The switch provides a 32 Gbit/s switching capacity and an 8000-entry MAC table to support stable wired connectivity in demanding environments.

Advantages

The IGS-1600T combines industrial-grade protection and flexible power options: a wide AC/DC input range with dual power-input support, strong surge and ESD immunity (±6 kV contact and air discharge), and extended operating temperatures for reliable operation in harsh sites. It also implements IEEE 802.3az and additional green features such as link-down power savings and intelligent power scaling by cable length to reduce energy consumption.

Suitable for

• Factory automation and industrial control networks
• Traffic control cabinets and roadside equipment
• Surveillance and video systems requiring multiple Gigabit ports
• Remote or harsh-environment network installations

How to use

Mount the switch on a DIN rail or on a wall inside an appropriate cabinet. Connect power using one or both supported inputs (12–48 V DC or 24 V AC); when two power sources are provided the hardware failover will maintain operation if one source fails. Attach network devices to the Gigabit RJ-45 ports using standard Ethernet cables. No configuration is required for basic switching operations because the device is unmanaged; connected devices will obtain link and begin forwarding traffic automatically.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, install the switch in a ventilated enclosure free of corrosive gases and within the specified temperature range. Use proper surge protection on incoming power where installations are exposed to electrical disturbances, and prefer shielded or good-quality Ethernet cables for reduced interference. To benefit from energy-saving features, use appropriate cable lengths (less than 20 m where feasible) so the intelligent power scaling can reduce power consumption.
