PoE+ splitter Exsys EX-60325 802.3at, kimenet 12 V DC 20 W

Exsys EX-60325 is a compact PoE+ (802.3at) splitter that extracts power and data from a single Power-over-Ethernet connection and provides a regulated 12 V DC output delivering up to 20 W. The device makes it possible to power non‑PoE equipment such as IP cameras, wireless access points, routers and other low‑power network devices from existing Ethernet cabling, reducing the need for separate power lines and simplifying installations in remote or hard‑to‑reach locations.

Advantages

The splitter supports the 802.3at PoE+ standard and reliably converts injected power to a stable 12 V DC output with up to 20 W available for the powered device. Its compact, inline form factor allows easy integration into existing cable runs without the need for additional power supplies at the endpoint. The unit separates data and power cleanly, maintaining Ethernet connectivity while delivering continuous power, and is suitable for use with standard PoE switches and injectors that provide PoE+.

Suitable for

• IP cameras and video surveillance devices requiring 12 V DC power
• Wireless access points and small routers without native PoE support
• Remote sensors, IoT devices and embedded systems with 12 V input
• Installations where running separate power cables is impractical

Key specifications

• PoE standard: 802.3at (PoE+)
• Output voltage: 12 V DC
• Maximum output power: 20 W
• Input interface: Ethernet (RJ45) with PoE+ power
• Output interface: DC barrel jack or cable providing 12 V DC
• Form factor: inline/compact for inline mounting
• Intended environment: indoor network installations

How to use

Connect the incoming PoE+ Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or injector to the splitter's RJ45 input. Connect the splitter's 12 V DC output to the device that requires 12 V power using the appropriate barrel connector or cable. Ensure the PoE source supports 802.3at and can supply sufficient power for the splitter and the connected device. After connections are made, power is delivered over the Ethernet cable and the splitter provides a stable 12 V DC output while passing through data to the powered device if required.

Recommendations

Use the splitter with PoE+ compliant switches or injectors and verify the total power budget of the PoE source before connecting multiple devices. For reliable operation, keep cable lengths within Ethernet specifications and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures. If the powered device requires connectors or polarity different from the splitter's output, use an appropriate adapter cable or consult device documentation.
