Porkupak DeLOCK 88489

The DELOCK 88489 dust cover is a protective BNC cap designed to shield female BNC ports from dust, debris and water splashes. Constructed from durable brass with a nickel-plated surface and finished in silver, it provides long-lasting protection while maintaining a compact, unobtrusive appearance.

Advantages

The brass body and nickel plating offer corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, increasing service life. The cap fits over female BNC connectors to prevent contamination and reduce the risk of connector damage. Its silver finish gives a uniform look on equipment panels without adding bulk.

How to use

Align the dust cover with the female BNC port and press it gently into place until it seats securely. To remove, pull the cap straight off the connector. Use the cap whenever a BNC port is not in active use to prevent ingress of dust and moisture.

Recommendations

Inspect the cap periodically for wear or damage; replace if plating is worn or the fit becomes loose. Do not force the cap onto connectors; ensure correct alignment to avoid connector deformation.
