Ragasztószalag 3M 7100030935

3M 7100030935 tape adhesive is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape formulated for reliable bonding to metal substrates. The roll measures 55 m in length, 12 mm in width and has a 0.27 mm total thickness. Designed for industrial and DIY use, the tape provides strong initial tack, long-term holding power and resistance to common handling stresses on metal parts and assemblies.

Advantages

The tape combines a high-performance adhesive with a thin, conformable carrier to deliver secure bonds on flat and slightly contoured metal surfaces. Its 12 mm width and 0.27 mm thickness strike a balance between ease of handling and sufficient adhesive coverage, while the long 55 m roll reduces the need for frequent replacements. The formulation is intended to resist shear and peel forces typical in assembly and repair tasks.

How to use

Prepare surfaces by cleaning and drying the metal to remove oil, dust and loose particles; use an appropriate solvent or cleaner if necessary. Measure and cut the required length of tape, peel off the liner and apply the tape firmly onto the metal surface, smoothing to remove air pockets. Apply uniform pressure along the tape length to improve contact and bond strength. For maximum performance, allow the adhesive to set under recommended pressure and avoid immediate heavy loads on the bonded joint.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For best results on oily or low-energy metal surfaces, first test adhesion on a small area and consider surface pretreatment such as degreasing or light abrasion. Avoid using the tape on wet or contaminated surfaces and follow safety guidelines for handling adhesive materials.
