Rittal 9665.770 kábelátvezető karima tömítőmembránnal

The Rittal cable entry flange with sealing membrane 9665.770 provides a sealed interface for routing cables into electrical enclosures and control panels. Engineered to integrate a flexible sealing membrane, this flange helps prevent dust and splash water ingress while maintaining cable organization and providing basic strain relief. It is intended for use in industrial housings where a compact, reliable cable seal is required and where maintaining enclosure protection class is important.

Advantages

The integrated sealing membrane allows multiple cables of different diameters to pass through a single flange while maintaining an effective seal around each conductor. Its compact design supports tidy cable routing and reduces the need for additional grommets or individual seals. Constructed to match common enclosure mounting dimensions, the flange simplifies installation and improves the long-term protection of internal components from contaminants.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This flange is not intended for use where full liquid immersion protection or high-pressure washdown resistance is required. For applications demanding high mechanical strain relief for very heavy or tensioned cables, a dedicated heavy-duty gland or mechanical clamp should be used instead. Verify compatibility with your enclosure's ingress protection requirements and layout before selection.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the flange into the designated cut-out of the enclosure and secure it using the appropriate fastening hardware. Feed cables through the membrane openings, ensuring each cable passes cleanly without sharp bends at the sealing point. Confirm that the membrane forms a snug contact around each cable to maintain the seal. For maintenance, check the membrane periodically for wear or degradation and replace the flange if the sealing performance is compromised.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

To maintain sealing performance, route cables with gentle bends, avoid over-stretching the membrane openings, and replace the flange if the membrane shows cuts, hardening, or permanent deformation. Match installation hardware and gasket interfaces to the enclosure specifications to preserve the intended protection level.
