RODE Broadcaster kondenzátormikrofon — professzionális nagymembrános stúdiómikrofon beszédfelvételhez

RODE Broadcaster is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone engineered for professional voice recording and broadcast work. Its capsule and internal design prioritize speech clarity, natural tonal balance and controlled proximity effect, making it suitable for radio, podcasting, voice-over and studio vocal applications. The microphone uses a balanced XLR output and is intended for use with studio preamps and audio interfaces capable of supplying phantom power.

Advantages

The Broadcaster delivers clear, focused vocal capture with a frequency response tailored to emphasize voice presence while avoiding harshness in the upper mids. Its large-diaphragm condenser capsule provides low self-noise and detailed transient response, enabling articulate speech reproduction. The microphone’s internal pop filtering and rear rejection characteristics help reduce plosives and off-axis noise, improving usable signal in treated and untreated rooms. Built for broadcast and studio workflows, it integrates with common professional mounting hardware and XLR cabling.

Suitable for

• Radio and live broadcast studios
• Podcasting and streaming
• Voice-over recording for film, TV and commercials
• Studio vocal recording and spoken-word production

Key specifications

• Transducer type: Large-diaphragm condenser
• Polar pattern: Cardioid (optimized for on-axis speech)
• Frequency response: Tailored for voice presence and intelligibility
• Output: Balanced analog XLR
• Power requirement: Phantom power (48V) from preamps or interfaces
• Construction: Robust metal body designed for studio use

How to use

Connect the microphone to a compatible preamplifier or audio interface using a standard XLR cable and enable phantom power. Position the microphone so the capsule faces the speaker at a typical distance of 10–30 cm, using an adjustable boom or stand to maintain consistent placement. For reduced plosives, angle the microphone slightly off-axis or use a windscreen/pop filter. Set input gain on your preamp or interface to achieve a healthy signal without clipping, monitoring levels with headphones and meters.

Recommendations

For best results in broadcast and voice-over work, pair the microphone with a low-noise preamp and use basic room treatment or close-miking techniques to minimize room reflections. Use a shock mount and pop filter where possible, and set consistent mic placement to preserve tone and intelligibility across sessions.
