ROLINE 11.04.5846 videokábel-adapter

The ROLINE 11.04.5846 is a 2 m video cable adapter with a DisplayPort connector on one end and a USB Type-C connector on the other. It enables connection of devices that have USB Type-C video output to displays with DisplayPort input, providing a stable, high-quality video signal over a flexible two-meter cable. The black finish fits professional and home environments while the construction is designed for repeated connections.

Advantages

This video cable adapter supports straightforward plug-and-play operation and removes the need for separate converters. The 2 m length offers placement flexibility between computer and monitor without stretching or awkward routing. Using a DisplayPort to USB Type-C connection preserves video quality and helps maintain compatible refresh rates and resolutions where the source device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C. The black jacket and reinforced connector ends increase resistance to daily wear.

Key specifications

• Connector A: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector B: USB Type-C (male)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Colour: Black
• Cable type: Video adapter cable for DisplayPort over USB-C (DP Alt Mode compatibility depends on source device)

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end to the monitor's DisplayPort input and insert the USB Type-C connector into the source device that supports video output via USB-C (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). After connecting, select the correct input on the display and configure the display settings on the source device as needed for resolution and refresh rate. For the best results, ensure both devices support the required video modes and that cables are inserted fully into the ports.

Recommendations

Position the cable to avoid sharp bends near the connectors and route it away from high-heat sources. If the source device does not output video over USB-C, use an appropriate active adapter or check device specifications. Regularly inspect connectors and cable jacket for damage; replace if any signs of wear appear to maintain signal integrity.
