Rothenberger 70027 csővágó gép

The Rothenberger 70027 Pipe Cutting Machine (TUBE CUTTER 35) is a compact tool for cutting copper, brass, aluminium and thin-walled steel pipes. Manufactured in Spain and weighing approximately 250 g, it offers precise, lightweight handling suitable for plumbing and construction tasks. The tool includes a retractable internal pipe deburrer and a spare cutter wheel stored in the handle for uninterrupted work.

Advantages

The design combines low weight with durable construction for easy transport and handling on site. The integrated retractable deburrer provides immediate removal of burrs without additional tools, while the spare cutter wheel in the handle enables continued operation after a blade change. The cutter is optimized for clean, accurate cuts on soft and thin-walled metal pipes.

Suitable for

• Cutting copper pipes for plumbing installations
• Cutting brass and aluminium tubing in HVAC and electrical applications
• Trimming thin-walled steel pipes for fittings and connections
• On-site pipe preparation where portability and speed are required

How to use

Place the pipe in the cutter’s jaws and tighten the tool until the cutting wheel contacts the pipe. Rotate the cutter around the pipe, progressively tightening after several turns to deepen the cut until the pipe separates. After cutting, extend the retractable internal deburrer from the handle and pass it through the pipe end to remove burrs and ensure a smooth inner surface. Replace the cutter wheel stored in the handle when the blade becomes dull.

Recommendations

For best results, secure the pipe to prevent rotation during cutting and make progressive tightening rather than aggressive force to avoid deforming thin-walled pipes. Use the spare cutter wheel included in the handle to maintain consistent cutting quality.
