Dätwyler S/FTP Cat6 patchkábel sárga 7 m

The Dätwyler S/FTP Patch Cable Cat6 in yellow, 7 meters long, provides a shielded twisted-pair connection designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Compatible with standard RJ45 installations, this Cat6 cable supports common Ethernet applications and reduces electromagnetic interference through S/FTP (shielded with foil around each pair and an overall braid) construction. The bright yellow jacket simplifies identification in cable runs and rack environments, while the 7 m length offers flexibility for desktop-to-switch or patch-panel connections.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction improves immunity to crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 7 m span. Cat6 performance enables support for Gigabit Ethernet and many higher-frequency data requirements within its specification limits. The factory-terminated patch leads with molded strain relief on each connector help reduce mechanical stress at the plug and extend service life. The yellow outer sheath provides clear visual identification for network organization and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between workstations and network switches
• Patch panel to switch or switch-to-switch short links in server rooms and closets
• Office and home network wiring where reduced interference and clear cable identification are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil shield per pair + overall braided shield)
• Length: 7 meters
• Connector type: RJ45, 8P8C
• Outer jacket color: yellow
• Conductor type: stranded copper conductors (for patching use)
• Application temperature and bending: designed for typical indoor patching and rack installations

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of the device (computer, printer, or other network equipment) and the other end into the corresponding switch, patch panel or router port. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force when routing the cable through racks or conduits; use existing cable management channels or Velcro ties to secure the cable without compressing the jacket. Check link lights on connected devices to verify successful connectivity and perform a network test if needed to confirm throughput and stability.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Dätwyler Cat6 S/FTP patch cable for indoor patching runs up to the specified length, keep separation from high-voltage power lines when possible, and maintain proper connector seating. Replace cables if connectors show visible damage or if signal errors are detected during network diagnostics.
