The gateway combines WLAN and Bluetooth radio interfaces in a compact housing for flexible placement in living spaces. USB power enables easy installation without additional power supplies. Its single-band 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi ensures broad compatibility with home routers and IoT devices, while Bluetooth connectivity extends support to local sensors and controllers. The neutral white design integrates visually into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting Bluetooth sensors and controllers to a Wi‑Fi based smart home network
• Extending Shelly device integration in residential automation systems
• Small apartments or rooms where compact, USB‑powered gateways are preferred
• Environments requiring simple, plug-and-play network bridging for smart accessories

Key specifications

• Wireless interfaces: 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi (single‑band) and Bluetooth
• Power supply: USB powered (5 V typical)
• Form factor: compact, wall‑or shelf‑friendly enclosure in white
• Primary function: protocol bridging between Bluetooth devices and a Wi‑Fi network
• Typical operating environment: indoor use for home automation setups

How to use

Connect the gateway to a USB power source and place it within range of both your Wi‑Fi router and the Bluetooth devices you intend to bridge. Use the Shelly mobile app or web interface to add the gateway to your local network, follow on‑screen prompts to pair Bluetooth devices, and configure device names and rooms as needed. Once configured, the gateway will relay status updates and control commands between Bluetooth accessories and your Wi‑Fi network for integration with automation scenes and schedules.

Recommendations

Position the gateway centrally between Bluetooth devices and the Wi‑Fi router to improve signal reliability. Avoid metal enclosures and large obstacles that can attenuate radio signals. For stable operation, use a reliable USB power source and ensure the router’s 2.4 GHz band is enabled and not overly congested.
