ShiverPeaks 08-35480 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patchkábel

ShiverPeaks 08-35480 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable is designed for high-frequency Ethernet environments where reliable copper cabling is required. This Cat 7 patch cable uses unshielded U/UTP construction with standard RJ45 connectors to provide wired connections between switches, routers, patch panels and network endpoints. The cable is suitable for LAN installations that demand higher bandwidth and improved signal performance compared with lower category cables.

Advantages

The cable supports Category 7 performance enabling stable transmission at higher frequencies and increased data throughput for compatible equipment. Its U/UTP construction offers straightforward installation in typical commercial and residential network environments while retaining the backwards compatibility of RJ45 interfaces. The cable’s design reduces crosstalk and maintains consistent signal quality across short to medium patch runs.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, routers and patch panels in local area networks
• Wired Ethernet connections for desktop workstations and networked devices
• Structured cabling runs in office or server room environments where Cat 7 performance is required
• Upgrading existing copper networks to higher-category cabling while keeping RJ45 terminations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7 (Category 7 performance)
• Conductor type: copper, multi-pair
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall, unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Typical use: Ethernet patching and LAN connections
• Color: grey
• Length: 30 m (as indicated for typical packaging option)

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the ShiverPeaks Cat 7 patch cable to the port on your switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the network device or patch field. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a stable physical connection. For best results, route the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid tight bends or sharp kinks that could damage the twisted pairs inside. Verify link and speed negotiation on network devices after connection.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable for short to medium-length patching in structured cabling systems; it provides a simple upgrade path for copper Ethernet links while keeping standard RJ45 terminations. For long permanent runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cabling or fiber options.
