ShiverPeaks BS52001-R RCA-adapter

The ShiverPeaks BS52001-R RCA wire connector is a stainless steel female RCA connector designed for reliable audio signal transmission in a single-pack format. The connector’s stainless steel body provides mechanical durability and corrosion resistance while the female RCA design enables secure mating with standard male RCA plugs. This component is intended for use in audio and video cable assemblies where a dependable, long-lasting connection is required.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction offers enhanced strength and protection against wear and oxidation compared with plated or soft-metal housings. The female RCA configuration ensures compatibility with widely used RCA male plugs and offers stable contact for analogue audio signals. The compact single-pack format simplifies replacement and small-scale installations.

Suitable for

• Home audio and stereo systems
• AV equipment and home theatre connections
• Repairing or terminating RCA cable ends
• Custom cable assemblies and DIY audio projects

Key specifications

• Connector type: Female RCA
• Housing material: Stainless steel (metal finish)
• Pack size: Single connector
• Application: Analogue audio/video signal coupling

How to use

Strip the cable outer jacket and inner conductor insulation to the appropriate lengths for the RCA connector. Insert the cable conductors into the connector according to the connector design, ensuring correct alignment between signal and ground. Secure the conductor with the provided mechanical fastening method (soldering or compression depending on the specific connector sub-type), then assemble any outer shell or housing to enclose the joint. Test the connection with an audio source and sink to confirm signal continuity and mechanical stability.

Recommendations

For best results, use the stainless steel female RCA connector in environments where mechanical robustness and corrosion resistance are required. When assembling, follow standard cable preparation and assembly practices: ensure clean conductor surfaces, use appropriate soldering or crimping tools if applicable, and verify polarity to prevent channel mismatch.
