ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patchkábel 08-35070

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable 08-35070 is a Category 7 network patch cable with RJ45 terminations designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections. Built to meet Cat7 performance characteristics in a U/UTP (unshielded) construction, this patch cable is intended for reliable copper-based local area network links where stable Gigabit and higher transfer rates are required. The cable is suitable for connecting switches, routers, servers and other network devices in offices, server rooms and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The cable offers Category 7 performance in an unshielded format, allowing effective support of Gigabit Ethernet and higher-speed applications while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ45 ports. Its RJ45 terminations provide easy plug-and-play installation into patch panels and network equipment. The cable's construction focuses on signal integrity and consistent data transfer over short to medium runs typical for office and data center patching.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers in office and small data center environments
• Patching between patch panels and network devices in structured cabling
• Wiring server racks and workstation connections requiring high throughput
• Applications that use Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper within supported distances

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7 (performance grade for high-speed Ethernet)
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, overall unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Typical use: Ethernet patching for LAN, servers and network equipment
• Color: gray (as supplied for standard installations)
• Length: 10 m (typical patch cable length for rack and desk connectivity)

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other into the device to be connected, ensuring secure seating of the connectors. Route the cable along cable management channels or through cable organizers to avoid tight bends and tension. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and keep bend radii within manufacturer recommendations. Verify link status and negotiated speed on network devices after connection to confirm expected performance.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 7 U/UTP patch cable for short to medium patch runs inside racks, between patch panels and network devices. For installations requiring extended distances or additional protection against electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cable variants or fiber-optic links where appropriate. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the RJ45 plugs or outer sheath show wear.
