S/CONN 10-58185 videokábel-adapter

The ShiverPeaks Video Cable Adapter S/CONN 10-58185 is a 1.8 m video connection cable designed to link a DVI-D output to a USB Type-C input. Constructed from durable ABS housing and finished in black, this adapter cable provides a fixed-length, single-piece solution for transmitting digital video signals between devices with different interface types. The product is supplied as one piece and is intended for straightforward plug-and-play connectivity when device ports and supported signal formats are compatible.

Advantages

The adapter combines a DVI-D interface and a USB Type-C connector in a single 1.8 m cable, minimising the need for separate adapters or complicated setups. Its ABS construction offers impact and wear resistance suitable for regular use, while the black exterior provides a neutral appearance that fits professional and home environments. The fixed-length design helps maintain signal integrity over the specified distance for typical desktop and meeting-room layouts.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-D equipped graphics source to a display or device with a USB Type-C video input (when the USB-C port supports video alt mode)
• Desktop workstations and conference-room setups requiring a direct digital video link
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations where a 1.8 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Connector 1: DVI-D
• Connector 2: USB Type-C
• Material: ABS housing
• Colour: Black
• Pack quantity: 1 piece

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices are powered off before connecting. Insert the DVI-D end into the DVI-D output on the source device and connect the USB Type-C end to the target device’s USB-C video-capable port. After connecting, power on devices and select the appropriate input/source on the display if required. Confirm that the USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode or equivalent) on the connected device, as not all USB-C ports provide video signalling.

Recommendations

To achieve reliable video transmission, keep cable runs within the specified 1.8 m length and avoid tight bends near connectors. Verify compatibility of the USB-C port with video modes prior to purchase or use, and use the adapter in environments free from excessive humidity or temperature extremes. If image issues occur, check source display settings and try a different video-capable USB-C port or a direct DVI connection to isolate compatibility factors.
