Albrecht 50120 koaxiális csatlakozó

The Coaxial Connector Albrecht 50120 pack contains two male PL259 coaxial connectors designed for reliable RF connections. These connectors provide a solid mechanical connection and stable electrical contact for coaxial cables used in radio frequency applications. Suitable for installing or repairing antenna feeds, patch leads and other RF cabling, the components are built to withstand repeated assembly and maintain consistent signal transmission.

Advantages

The Albrecht 50120 PL259 connectors offer a compact metal construction that provides good shielding against electromagnetic interference and ensures dependable continuity. Their threaded coupling system secures the connection under normal handling conditions and reduces the risk of intermittent contact. The design supports efficient transmission of VHF and UHF signals when mated with compatible SO-239 sockets and appropriate coaxial cable types.

Suitable for

• Amateur radio transceivers and antenna feeders
• HF/VHF/UHF coaxial patch leads
• Repairing or assembling CB radio and similar RF cabling
• Laboratory and test equipment requiring PL259/SO-239 interfaces

Key specifications

• Connector type: male PL259 (UHF series)
• Material: metal body with conductive center pin
• Cable compatibility: typical with RG-58, RG-8, or similar coaxial cables depending on assembly method
• Coupling: threaded screw-on coupling for SO-239 receptacles
• Pack quantity: 2 connectors

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the appropriate lengths for the connector design. Slide any necessary ferrules, sleeves or insulators onto the cable, insert the centre conductor into the connector pin and secure the braid to the shell according to the connector assembly method (solder, crimp or screw depending on the variant). After assembly, tighten the threaded coupling to a mating SO-239 socket to ensure a firm mechanical and electrical contact. Verify continuity and check for shorts before applying RF power.

Recommendations

Use connectors matched to the cable diameter and choose the appropriate assembly technique (solder or crimp) for a reliable joint. Avoid over-tightening the threaded coupling to prevent damage to the connector or socket. Inspect connections periodically and replace any connector showing corrosion, loose parts or degraded performance.
