Connect the enclosure to a host device using a USB Type-C cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. The host operating system should detect the NVMe drive as external storage; if necessary, initialize or format the drive using the OS disk management tools before first use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance use a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 capable host port and a high-quality Type-C cable. Ensure the installed NVMe M.2 SSD is compatible with M-Key or B+M-Key form factors and within the supported lengths. Provide adequate ventilation during sustained heavy transfers to avoid thermal throttling.
