Staedtler 318 B10 filctoll

The Staedtler 318 B10 felt pen is a German-made writing and drawing tool with a durable conical tip designed to produce precise lines and consistent color flow. Its water-based ink provides vibrant, even coverage on a variety of paper types while minimizing bleed-through. The barrel is shaped for a comfortable grip to support extended use by students, illustrators, and hobbyists.

Advantages

The pen offers reliable line precision thanks to a robust tip that resists fraying. Water-based ink delivers bright, consistent color with low odor and quick drying on standard paper. The comfortable barrel design reduces hand fatigue during long sessions. Manufactured in Germany, the pen follows established quality and production standards for felt-tip instruments.

Suitable for

• Sketching and line drawing
• Coloring illustrations and filling small areas
• Note-taking and handwriting
• School projects and arts-and-crafts

Key specifications

• Tip type: conical/durable felt tip for precise lines
• Ink type: water-based, vibrant color
• Recommended surfaces: standard drawing and writing papers
• Ergonomics: shaped barrel for comfortable grip
• Origin: made in Germany

How to use

Remove the cap before use and hold the pen at a comfortable angle to the paper to apply consistent pressure for even lines. Use the tip point for fine details and a slightly angled position for broader strokes. Replace the cap after use to prevent the tip from drying out. For best results, test the pen on a scrap of the same paper to check ink absorption and drying time.

Recommendations

Store the pen horizontally or upright with the cap on to maintain tip condition and ink flow. Avoid using on very glossy or synthetic surfaces where water-based ink may smear or not adhere well. Combine with compatible paper types and allow drying time to reduce the risk of smudging.
