Stanley FATMAX láda, 240 liter

The Stanley FATMAX 240 Litre Chest is a large-capacity tool storage solution designed for durability and protection of tools and equipment. Constructed from a combination of aluminium and high-strength plastic, the chest offers scratch, shock and water resistance within a roomy internal volume. With external dimensions of approximately 990 mm (width) × 590 mm (depth) × 620 mm (height), the unit accommodates a broad range of hand tools, power tools and accessories while remaining suitable for workshop, site or garage use.

Advantages

The construction combines lightweight aluminium with impact-resistant plastic panels to provide structural strength without excessive weight. The chest’s finish resists surface scratches and the design reduces the effect of shocks and impacts on stored contents. Water-resistant features help protect tools from moisture and light rain exposure. Large internal capacity coupled with sturdy lid and fastening points supports organized storage and secure transport of equipment.

Suitable for

• Storing and transporting hand tools and power tools
• Professional use on construction sites and service vehicles
• Workshop and garage storage for larger toolsets and bulky equipment
• DIY projects requiring centralized, secure tool storage

Key specifications

• Internal volume: 240 litres (approx.)
• Materials: aluminium and high-strength plastic
• Exterior dimensions: 990 mm (W) × 590 mm (D) × 620 mm (H)
• Resistance properties: scratch-, shock- and water-resistant design
• Weight capacity: suitable for heavy tool loads (refer to manufacturer guidance for safe load limits)

How to use

Place the chest on a flat, stable surface when loading or unloading tools. Open the lid fully and arrange tools to distribute weight evenly, placing heavier items at the bottom and lighter or fragile items on top or in protective cases. Use internal dividers or small containers to keep smaller components organised and to prevent movement during transport. Close and secure the lid before moving the chest; use appropriate fastening or tie-down points if transporting in a vehicle.

Recommendations

For prolonged protection, avoid prolonged submersion in water and store the chest in a sheltered location when not in use. Regularly check and clean seals, hinges and fastenings to maintain water resistance and smooth operation. When lifting or transporting the chest, use correct lifting techniques and, if needed, team lift to avoid damage or personal injury.
