STIHL Bypass PG 10 ágvágó olló

Where anvil pruners crush and bruise tender green wood, the STIHL Bypass PG 10 slices with surgical precision. Its bypass blade glides past a fixed counter-blade, delivering a clean, angled cut that seals quickly and promotes healthy regrowth. Built for gardeners who refuse to compromise on plant health, this shear handles fresh growth up to 20 mm thick with minimal effort, thanks to its hardened steel edge and lightweight aluminium frame.

Highlights

• Bypass cutting action for clean, precise cuts on live wood
• Hardened steel blade with integrated sap groove to prevent sticking
• Aluminium handles with non-slip coating for secure grip in any weather
• Single-hand safety lock keeps blades closed when not in use
• Integrated spring and shock-absorbing buffers for smooth operation
• Replaceable blade extends the life of the tool
• Corrosion-resistant finish for durability

In daily use

The PG 10 feels balanced from the first cut. Its ergonomic handles fit naturally in the palm, and the non-slip coating ensures control even with damp gloves. The bypass design means the sharpened blade passes by the fixed counter-blade, slicing rather than crushing—ideal for roses, shrubs, and young fruit trees. The sap groove channels sticky residue away from the cutting edge, so you spend less time cleaning and more time pruning. When the job is done, the safety lock engages with one hand, and the integrated buffers absorb the shock of each cut to protect your wrist.
