Szigetelt VDE adapterpenge Wiha 287992 csavarhúzó-bitekhez

Insulated VDE Adapter Blade Wiha 287992 is an accessory designed to adapt and secure standard screwdriver bits for safe use on electrical installations. Made by Wiha and tested to VDE requirements, the adapter provides insulation for work on live electrical systems up to the voltage rating declared by the manufacturer. It is engineered to accept compatible bits and to interface with screwdrivers or bit holders, maintaining a reliable mechanical connection while delivering electrical protection during maintenance and installation tasks.

Advantages

The adapter blade combines electrical insulation with precise fit to minimize play between bit and holder, reducing the risk of slippage. Constructed to VDE-tested standards, it supports safer handling on or near live conductors when used within the specified voltage limits. Its design preserves torque transfer and allows straightforward replacement of bits, making it suitable for repeated professional use without compromising insulation integrity.

Key specifications

How to use

Select a compatible screwdriver bit and insert it fully into the adapter blade until it seats securely. Attach the adapter with the inserted bit to the screwdriver handle or bit holder, ensuring a firm mechanical fit before applying torque. Verify that the insulated portion remains undamaged and that the adapter is appropriate for the voltage of the system to be worked on. Replace any adapter that shows visible wear, cracks, or compromised insulation before further use.

Recommendations

Always inspect the insulated adapter visually before each use and confirm compatibility with the chosen bit and driver. Do not exceed the manufacturer's specified voltage rating. Use only with tools and bits in good condition, and follow applicable safety procedures for working on live electrical equipment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
