The cable’s length of 3 metres offers flexibility in device placement while maintaining a stable connection for POS peripherals.

How to use

Connect one PoweredUSB connector to the 12 V PoweredUSB port on the PC or hub and the other to the PoweredUSB port on the peripheral device. Ensure both host and device support the 12 V PoweredUSB standard before powering on. After secure connection, power the host or hub to deliver 12 V and allow data communication between the devices. Avoid forcing connectors; they should mate smoothly when aligned correctly.

Recommendations

Use the cable in an environment free from excessive moisture and mechanical strain. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; keep length under tension to a minimum. For POS installations, verify device compatibility with PoweredUSB 12 V and confirm that the host or hub can supply sufficient current for the connected peripheral.
