TELEGÄRTNER TEGA N84000F0000 Tool-Kit Advanced prémium cleaverrel

Fiber optic technicians and installers working on FTTH and FTTx deployments will find the TELEGÄRTNER TEGA N84000F0000 Tool-Kit Advanced an essential companion for field termination and splicing tasks. This comprehensive kit centers around a high-precision fiber cleaver with a blade life of up to 48,000 cleaves (16 positions × 3,000 cleaves per position) and a typical cleave angle below 0.5 degrees for single-mode fiber, ensuring consistent, low-loss splices. The included 3-hole fiber optic stripper handles 250 µm coating, 900 µm buffer, and 2–3 mm jacket, while a dedicated drop cable stripper and Kevlar shears cover cable preparation. A visual fault locator (VFL) with 650 nm wavelength and 1 mW output (Class II) aids in continuity testing and fault location via its 2.5 mm universal connector interface (SC/FC/ST compatible); it runs on 2 AA batteries (not included). Cleaning tools—an alcohol dispenser and lint-free wipes—plus a measuring tape round out the kit, all housed in a robust ABS hard case for protection and portability.

Why choose it

The kit’s premium cleaver delivers repeatable, high-quality cleaves that are critical for low-loss fusion splicing and mechanical splices. With a long blade life and a comprehensive set of preparation and testing tools, it reduces the need for multiple separate purchases and ensures technicians have what they need in one rugged case.

Ideal use cases

• FTTH drop cable termination and splicing
• Field repair and maintenance of fiber optic networks
• Installation of optical connectors and mechanical splices
• Continuity testing and fault location with the VFL

Good to know

The VFL requires 2 AA batteries, which are not included. The ABS hard case protects the tools during transport and storage, making the kit suitable for daily field use.
