Preisner FST50 drótösszekötő ezüst

The Wire connector Preisner FST50 Silver by Televes is a single-piece metal electrical connector finished in silver and intended for making reliable conductive joints. Manufactured from durable metal, this connector has an inner diameter of 5 mm and is supplied as one unit per pack. Its compact form and metal construction are suitable for applications where a secure mechanical and electrical connection is required for compatible wires.

Advantages

The silver finish provides good conductivity and corrosion resistance compared with untreated surfaces. The metal body ensures mechanical strength and long service life under normal installation conditions. Supplied as a single connector, it is convenient for targeted repairs or small-scale installations and eliminates the need to purchase bulk quantities.

How to use

Ensure power to the circuit is switched off before installation. Prepare the wires by stripping insulation to the appropriate length so the conductive cores will enter the connector fully without exposed insulation beneath the joint. Insert the wire(s) into the connector until seated, and apply the required mechanical fastening method appropriate for this metal connector type (for example, crimping or tightening if applicable). Verify the electrical continuity and mechanical stability of the joint before restoring power.

Recommendations

Use the connector only with wires compatible with a 5 mm inner diameter and follow local electrical codes. For repeated or high-current applications, ensure the connector's construction and crimping method match the system requirements and consider inspection for corrosion or loosening during maintenance.
