USB pendrive iStorage 8 GB USB Type-A IS-FL-DP2-256-8

The iStorage datAshur PRO2 is an 8 GB hardware-encrypted USB flash drive with an integrated alphanumeric keypad and USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed) interface. The device provides real-time AES-XTS 256-bit encryption in hardware and requires a unique 7–15 digit PIN entered on the onboard keypad to unlock the drive. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome, Android, thin clients and embedded systems and works without installing software or drivers.

Advantages

The datAshur PRO2 offers military-grade AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, keypad PIN authentication and plug-and-play operation across multiple platforms. It incorporates a secure microprocessor designed for high assurance (Common Criteria EAL4+ ready) and a tamper-evident, FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant design. The drive supports inactivity auto-lock, read-only (write protect) mode and user PIN enrollment policies, while its polymer-coated keypad improves wear resistance.

How to use

Enter your chosen 7–15 digit PIN on the integrated alphanumeric keypad to unlock the datAshur PRO2. Once unlocked the drive functions as a standard USB mass storage device; connect it to a compatible USB Type-A port and perform drag-and-drop file transfers. No drivers or additional software are required. When finished, use the keypad to lock the device or rely on the inactivity auto-lock to secure the drive automatically.

Recommendations

Choose a strong, non-obvious PIN and keep it confidential. Enrol a recovery or administrative PIN according to your organisation’s policy if required. Regularly back up critical data to an additional secure location and enable read-only mode when distributing the drive for one-way file transfer.
