UTP patchkábel ROLINE Cat.5e szürke 15 m

UTP Patch Cord ROLINE Cat.5e Grey 15 m is a 15-metre unshielded patch cable designed for networking connections between devices. It uses 4-pair stranded copper conductors and comes with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, wired 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard. The moulded kink protection and flexible jacket allow routing in confined spaces while gold-plated contacts provide reliable signal transfer compatible with Cat.5e networks up to 1 Gbps.

Advantages

The cable offers durable moulded kink protection for strain relief at the connectors and a flexible construction suitable for narrow bends. High-quality RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and ensure consistent connectivity. Wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 standard for plug compatibility across networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home and office networks
• Patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling installations
• Areas requiring flexible routing or tight cable bends

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Cable type: U/UTP Cat.5e, 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 1:1 wiring (EIA/TIA 568)
• Contacts: gold plated
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the device’s Ethernet port until the latch clicks. Use the cable to link network devices such as PCs, switches or routers, or to connect patch panels and wall sockets. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive pulling; the moulded kink protection helps prevent connector stress during installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances and maintain bend radii to prevent signal degradation. Cat.5e is suitable for gigabit Ethernet over typical LAN distances; for higher bandwidth or longer runs consider Cat.6 or higher.
