Videókábel-adapter DeLOCK 62608

The DeLOCK 62608 video cable adapter connects a DisplayPort source to an HDMI Type A display. Compact at 0.2 m length and finished in white, the adapter provides active conversion allowing connection of DP sources to HDMI monitors and TVs while supporting high-definition video and audio up to Ultra HD (4K). It is backward compatible with Full-HD (1080p) and suitable for systems where the graphics card cannot output DP++ signals.

Advantages

Active conversion from DisplayPort to HDMI ensures compatibility with devices that do not support DP++ passive conversion. Supports resolutions up to Ultra HD (4K) while remaining backward compatible with 1080p. Provides both video and audio transmission over a single connection. Compact 0.2 m length makes it easy to install without excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or desktop DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Using with graphics cards that lack DP++ support
• Short cable runs where a compact adapter is required

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Maximum resolution: up to Ultra HD (4K); backward compatible with Full-HD (1080p)
• Length: 0.2 m
• Product colour: White
• Active conversion: Yes

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort end into the source device (for example a laptop or desktop DisplayPort output) and connect the HDMI Type A end to the display or TV. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the appropriate input on the display. No driver installation is typically required; the adapter performs active signal conversion internally.

Recommendations

For best results, use with displays and graphics devices that support the desired resolution. Keep cable runs short to avoid signal degradation and ensure the display input is set to the connected HDMI port. If no image appears, verify the source’s DisplayPort output is enabled and that the adapter is firmly connected.
