How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort plug into the Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt output of your computer. Connect a VGA cable from the adapter’s VGA socket to the VGA input of the monitor or projector. The adapter performs active conversion automatically; configure the display settings on your computer as needed (screen resolution, mirroring or extended desktop) to match the connected VGA device.

Recommendations

For best results, use a good-quality VGA cable and set the computer’s output resolution to a mode supported by the VGA display. Keep the adapter and connectors dry and avoid excessive bending of the cable. The adapter does not supply power to the display; some high-resolution displays may not be supported beyond the VGA device’s native limits.
