1U Rutenbeck 238101100 patch panel

The Rutenbeck 238101100 is a 1U patch panel engineered for structured network installations. Designed with RJ45 connectors and a grey finish, it provides a compact and rack-compatible solution for organizing copper network connections. Its dimensions (width 483 mm, height 128 mm, depth 44 mm) make it suitable for standard 19-inch rack enclosures while its halogen-free construction and compliance with WEEE and RoHS standards support safer equipment deployment and end-of-life handling.

Advantages

The patch panel delivers straightforward port access and cable management in a slim 1U form factor, minimizing rack space consumption. RJ45 connectivity ensures compatibility with common Ethernet copper cabling, while the grey housing provides a neutral appearance that integrates into typical server room environments. Compliance with environmental and safety standards reduces hazardous substances and facilitates regulatory alignment for installations.

How to use

Install the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack at the desired elevation using appropriate mounting hardware. Terminate network cables on the RJ45 connectors following standard cabling schemes (T568A/T568B) and secure excess cable to maintain orderly routing. Use labeling on front or rear positions to map connections to switches and endpoints. Periodically inspect terminations and cable strain relief to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, pair the patch panel with compatible Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cables and maintain bend radii recommended by the cable manufacturer. Ensure rack airflow and environmental conditions meet equipment requirements and perform regular audits of cable labeling and connections to prevent accidental disconnections.
