Bachmann 940.083 Keystone-modul

The Bachmann 940.083 keystone module has a stainless steel finish and provides two RJ45 keystone-style connectors (front and rear) with shielding for protected network connections. It is designed to fit standard keystone wall plates and offers a durable option for structured cabling where a compact, metal-finished network outlet is required.

Advantages

The stainless steel finish resists wear and provides a professional appearance while the shielded RJ45 connections reduce electromagnetic interference. Front and rear keystone fixing allows easy mounting in compatible panels or plates, and the module is compatible with standard keystone cutouts for straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Office network outlets and patch panels
• Conference rooms and media cabinets
• Server rooms and rack-mounted keystone panels
• Environments requiring shielded Ethernet connections

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible keystone wall plate or panel using the keystone fixing at the front and rear. Terminate the Ethernet cables to the RJ45 connectors according to the wiring standard in use (e.g., T568A or T568B), ensuring proper shielding continuity if using screened twisted-pair cable. After installation, secure the wall plate or panel and test the network connection for continuity and required performance.

Recommendations

Use compatible screened (shielded) network cables and ensure the chassis or mounting plate provides a proper ground connection to maintain shielding effectiveness. Verify compatibility with the keystone opening dimensions of the intended wall plate or panel before installation.
