DeLOCK 19604 hőre zsugorodó cső

The DeLOCK 19604 heat shrink tube is made of durable polyolefin and comes in a red colour. It is designed to provide insulation and mechanical protection by shrinking around wires, grips or components when heat is applied. The sleeve helps protect surfaces from weather effects and mechanical damage while creating a non-slip covering for handles and tools.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction offers good electrical insulation and resistance to wear. With a 2:1 shrinkage ratio the tube reliably reduces to approximately half its original diameter, forming a close, protective layer. The bright red colour increases visibility and identification of covered parts.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical connections and wires
• Providing a non-slip covering for tool handles and sports equipment (e.g., tennis rackets, fishing rods)
• Repairing or reinforcing grips and small-diameter components
• Color-coding cables or components for identification

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the item to be covered so that it overlaps the ends as needed. Apply heat evenly using a hot air gun or other appropriate heat source until the tube contracts and forms a tight seal around the object. Allow the sleeve to cool before handling to ensure a secure fit.

Recommendations

Use a regulated hot air gun at a suitable distance to avoid overheating nearby components. Ensure the tube selected matches the initial diameter of the object so that after 2:1 shrinkage it fits tightly. For electrical insulation, confirm that the material and thickness meet your application’s safety requirements.
