DeLOCK 85732 SAS-kábel

The DeLOCK 85732 is a 1 m Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cable with a Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 connector on one end and four SATA 6 Gb/s connectors on the other. It provides a direct internal connection between a Mini SAS HD compatible controller or backplane and up to four SATA drives, supporting high-speed data transfer for storage systems. The cable is supplied in a polybag and comes in black and green jacket colours.

Advantages

This cable combines a single Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 plug with four SATA 6 Gb/s 7‑pin plus sideband connectors, enabling consolidation of multiple drive connections into one port. The 1 m length offers flexibility inside PC or server enclosures, and the cable supports reliable, high-speed SAS-to-SATA connectivity for internal storage configurations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) controller or backplane to up to four SATA HDDs/SSDs
• Internal cabling in desktops, workstations and servers
• Storage array assembly, RAID controller connections and drive replacements

How to use

Power down the system before installing internal cables. Plug the Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 connector into the matching port on the controller or backplane, then connect the four SATA 6 Gb/s connectors to the SATA ports on the drives. Ensure connectors are fully seated and route the cable to avoid obstructing fans or other components. After connection, restore power and verify drive detection in the system BIOS/UEFI or storage controller utility.

Recommendations

Use this cable for internal data connections only; it is not intended for external use. Keep cable runs tidy and avoid sharp bends to maintain signal integrity. Match drive speeds and controller capabilities to achieve optimal performance.
