Dexlan 755259 vakpanel

The Dexlan 755259 blank panel is a 4U filler plate designed for standard 19-inch server and equipment racks. Finished in black, this single-unit panel closes unused rack spaces to maintain a tidy appearance, reduce dust buildup and support more consistent airflow across mounted equipment. Its flat, unobtrusive design integrates with standard rack rails and helps preserve cabinet organization in both professional datacenter and home lab environments.

Advantages

This blank panel provides a simple way to close unused rack bays, improving airflow management and reducing dust ingress without altering existing mounting hardware. The 4U height covers larger gaps than single-unit fillers, simplifying panel planning and minimizing visible cable and device openings. Its matte black finish matches most rack interiors and contributes to a uniform cabinet presentation.

How to use

Install the blank panel into an available 4U space in a 19-inch rack by aligning the panel with the rack rails and securing it with compatible rack screws. Confirm the panel sits flush with adjacent equipment to avoid gaps that could alter airflow patterns. For racks with square-hole rails, use the appropriate cage nuts; for threaded rails, use the corresponding screws. No additional tools or configuration are required beyond standard rack mounting hardware.

Recommendations

Place blank panels above and below heat-generating devices to guide airflow through active equipment and reduce recirculation. Regularly inspect and clean the panel surface to prevent dust accumulation; remove the panel only when installing new equipment or rerouting cables.
