Fali rack Digitus DN-19 07U-6/6-I-OD

The DIGITUS IP55 Outdoor Wall Mounting Cabinet (model DN-19 07U-6/6-I-OD) is a 19" industrial network cabinet designed for wall installation and outdoor use. Constructed from up to 2.0 mm sheet steel with an electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035), the cabinet measures 600 x 600 x 600 mm, supports standard 483 mm (19") rails with adjustable depth and is rated IP55 for protection against dust and water jets. The front door features a lockable pivot lever with a 3-point locking mechanism, earthing lead and gasket system. The cabinet includes a fan filter housing and a roof filtered area for ventilation and can be mounted on a plinth or fastened to poles using an optional fastening set.

Advantages

The IP55 rating ensures protection against dust ingress and water jets for reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments. A steel front door with 3-point locking and a lockable swing handle provides secure access control. Adjustable, galvanized 19" profile rails with readable rack-unit markings simplify equipment mounting. The integrated fan filter housing and filtered roof area enable ventilated installations while maintaining protection against contaminants. Robust construction with up to 2.0 mm sheet steel and powder coating offers mechanical durability and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Outdoor network equipment enclosures (routers, switches, small servers) in exposed locations
• Industrial control and communication hardware where IP55 protection is required
• Wall-mounted installations in environments with dust, rain or spray water
• Sites that require a ventilated but protected cabinet (with fan module)

How to use

Install the cabinet on a suitable wall using the enclosed mounting bracket, following local installation and safety regulations. Adjust the depth of the internal 19" profile rails to suit the mounted equipment and secure rails at the required rack units. If ventilation is required, fit an appropriate fan module into the fan filter housing and ensure the filter is installed and maintained. Route cables through insulated PG cable glands and connect the earthing lead to the building ground. For freestanding use, mount the optional plinth; for pole installations, use the optional pole fastening set.

Recommendations

Place the cabinet where it is protected from direct mechanical impact and ensure regular inspection and replacement of fan filters and gaskets to maintain IP55 performance. Verify load limits (max 100 kg distributed) and confirm that installed equipment meets ventilation and heat-dissipation requirements.
