Knipex 97 52 35 fogó

The Knipex 97 52 35 pliers are precision crimping pliers manufactured from high-quality chrome vanadium electric steel that has been oil-hardened for durability. At 220 mm length and approximately 494 g weight, these pliers combine compact design with robust construction and ergonomically shaped handles in the brand's blue and red colour scheme.

Advantages

Precision dies and an integral self-releasing lock ensure repetitive, high-quality crimps. The crimping pressure is factory-calibrated and can be readjusted if necessary. A toggle lever provides efficient force transmission for reduced user fatigue, while the favourable handle position, low weight and compact design contribute to good handling.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated terminals and connectors
• Electrical installation and wiring tasks
• Professional workshop and field service use
• DIY electrical and mechanical projects requiring reliable crimp connections

How to use

Select the appropriate die or crimping position for the terminal or connector you are using. Insert the stripped conductor and terminal into the die, position the pliers so the terminal is centred, and squeeze the handles until the self-releasing mechanism opens. If required, adjust the crimping pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions or a calibrated reference.

Recommendations

For consistent crimp quality, periodically check calibration and inspect dies for wear. Clean and lightly oil the joint and hinge area to maintain smooth toggle action. Use the pliers within their intended application range and follow applicable safety guidelines when working with live circuits.
