KS Tools 907.2242 kézi lehúzó

The KS Tools hand scraper 907.2242 is a compact scraping tool designed for controlled removal of paint, gasket material, adhesive residues and similar substances. With a length of 145 mm and a lightweight construction of approximately 103 g, the tool offers precise handling for small to medium scraping jobs in automotive maintenance and general workshop tasks. The scraper's profile and size make it suitable for confined spaces and for work that requires steady, accurate pressure.

Advantages

The tool combines a compact form factor with a balance that facilitates one-handed use and fine control. Its low weight reduces operator fatigue during repetitive tasks. The dimensions support access to narrow gaps and edges where larger scrapers cannot reach, while the blade geometry delivers consistent material removal without excessive force.

Suitable for

• Removing gasket residue from engine components and housings
• Scraping off old paint, sealant or adhesive from metal and painted surfaces
• Cleaning mating surfaces prior to resealing or welding
• Detail work in tight spaces in automotive and industrial maintenance

Key specifications

• Overall length: 145 mm
• Weight: 103 g (approx.)
• Hand-operated scraper for precision scraping tasks
• Compact size suitable for confined areas and fine work

How to use

Hold the hand scraper by the handle with a firm grip and position the blade at a shallow angle to the surface to be cleaned. Apply controlled, even pressure and move the blade along the contamination to lift and remove residue. For stubborn deposits, repeat passes at a slightly increased angle rather than applying abrupt force. Keep movements steady to avoid scratching underlying surfaces; change the blade or flip if the edge becomes dull to maintain effective scraping performance.

Recommendations

Use protective gloves and eye protection when scraping to avoid injury from removed material. Test the scraper on an inconspicuous area when working on painted or coated surfaces to verify that the blade and angle do not damage the substrate. Store the tool in a dry place and keep the blade covered or retracted when not in use to prevent accidental cuts.
