KS Tools 907.2263 glettvas, súly 70 g

The KS Tools 907.2263 putty knife is a lightweight hand tool designed for precise application and smoothing of putty and filler materials. Weighing approximately 70 g, its compact form factor supports controlled movements and reduced hand fatigue during repetitive tasks. The blade profile and handle construction are intended to provide a stable edge for spreading, scraping residual material, and finishing seams on a variety of surfaces.

Advantages

The lightweight construction contributes to ease of use and improved control in detailed work. A firm connection between blade and handle enhances durability during typical repair and finishing jobs. The slim blade allows access to narrow gaps and helps achieve a smooth, even surface with minimal effort. Materials and build quality are chosen to resist deformation under normal working conditions.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Applying and smoothing putty or filler on walls, wood, and metal surfaces
• Scraping away excess compound and cleaning joints
• Detail finishing in carpentry, automotive bodywork, and interior repairs
• Small patching and DIY maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Tool type: putty knife / filler spatula
• Approximate weight: 70 g
• Blade: thin, flexible profile suitable for spreading and smoothing
• Handle: ergonomically shaped for controlled grip and precision handling
• Intended use: manual application and finishing of putty, filler, and similar compounds

How to use

Hold the putty knife by the handle with a comfortable grip and position the blade at a shallow angle to the surface. Scoop or load an appropriate amount of putty onto the blade and spread it across the repair area using steady, even strokes. For smooth finishes, use progressively lighter passes and maintain consistent pressure. Use the blade edge to remove excess material and to refine joints or seams. Clean the blade after use to prevent buildup and to maintain tool performance.

Recommendations

For best results, select a blade width and flexibility that match the task: narrower, more flexible blades are better for tight seams and detailed work, while slightly stiffer blades suit broader, heavier applications. Store the tool dry and clean, and inspect the blade for nicks or bends before precision work.
