KTI Networks KPOE-100 PoE-adapter

The KTI Networks KPOE-100 is a compact Gigabit Ethernet PoE adapter that delivers 48 V power over Ethernet while maintaining data throughput at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. Designed to comply with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard, this adapter converts standard AC mains input into a stable PoE output suitable for powering network devices that accept 48 V PoE. Its small footprint (50 x 80 x 21 mm) allows placement in tight spaces and easy integration into existing network installations.

Advantages

The adapter combines Gigabit data transmission and PoE power delivery in a single inline unit, ensuring full-speed network connectivity together with power distribution. Compliance with IEEE 802.3af ensures compatibility with a wide range of PoE-enabled devices. The universal AC input (100–240 V, 50/60 Hz) supports international use without additional converters. Its compact size and straightforward operation reduce installation complexity and enable discreet placement near devices that require power.

Key specifications

• Data rates: 10/100/1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• PoE output voltage: 48 V
• PoE standard: IEEE 802.3af
• AC input voltage: 100–240 V
• Input frequency: 50/60 Hz
• Physical dimensions: 50 x 80 x 21 mm

How to use

Connect the adapter to an AC mains outlet using a compatible power cable, then insert the network cable from your switch or router into the adapter's data input port. Connect the adapter's PoE output port to the PoE-powered device using a standard Ethernet cable. Ensure the powered device supports IEEE 802.3af and 48 V input. After connections are secure, power the adapter from the mains; the device will receive both data and power over the Ethernet link automatically.

Recommendations

Place the adapter in a ventilated area away from direct heat sources and moisture. Use high-quality shielded or unshielded Ethernet cables suitable for Gigabit transmission to maintain data integrity. Verify power requirements of the connected device before installation and avoid overloading the PoE adapter beyond its intended compatibility with IEEE 802.3af devices.
