1U Lanberg PPU5-1048-S patch panel

The Lanberg PPU5-1048-S is a 1U rack-mounted patch panel for structured cabling systems. It provides 48 unshielded RJ-45 ports compliant with category 5e and is intended for termination and organization of twisted-pair cables in 19" rack cabinets and distribution points of telecommunications networks. The panel is a passive element designed to work with Cat5/Cat5e installations and includes a cable management shelf and handles for stable assembly.

Advantages

The patch panel uses IDC/LSA-style connectors to enable fast and reliable cable termination without special tooling. Its 1U compact format (445 mm width, 44.5 mm height, 102 mm depth) and grey finish help maintain a tidy and space-efficient rack layout while supporting 48 ports. A stiffened cable management shelf with handles improves cable routing and mechanical stability of the assembly.

Suitable for

• Termination and organization of Cat5/Cat5e twisted-pair cabling in server rooms
• Main and secondary distribution points in local area networks
• 19" rack installations requiring 48-port patching
