LogiLink NK4042 patch panel, 1U

The LogiLink NK4042 is a 1U rack-mountable patch panel made of solid metal with a black RAL9005 finish. Designed to accommodate 24 shielded keystone modules, it measures 482 mm × 44.5 mm × 151.5 mm and includes an integrated support bar and earthing cable for reliable grounding and cable strain relief. The panel provides tidy cable management and a professional appearance for network racks and cabinets.

Advantages

The metal 1U frame offers robust mounting in standard 19" racks while the capacity for 24 keystone modules enables dense port configuration. Inclusion of a support bar and earthing cable helps secure cabling and ensures proper grounding for shielded modules. The black RAL9005 finish matches common rack equipment and resists visible wear.

Suitable for

• Patch panel installations in 19" network racks
• Deployments requiring up to 24 shielded keystone modules
• Server rooms, telecom cabinets, and structured cabling closets

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U, 19" metal frame
• Keystone module capacity: 24 (shielded compatible)
• Dimensions (W×H×D): 482 mm × 44.5 mm × 151.5 mm
• Included accessories: support bar and earthing cable

How to use

Mount the LogiLink NK4042 into a standard 19" rack occupying 1U of rack space. Install shielded keystone modules into the panel ports according to your cabling plan, route patch and backbone cables through the support bar for strain relief, and connect the earthing cable to the rack grounding point to maintain shielding continuity. Secure all connections and perform continuity or network tests as required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance with shielded keystone modules, ensure the earthing cable is properly connected to the rack ground and maintain correct cable shielding practices. Avoid overloading modules beyond the panel's 24-port capacity and allow sufficient space for cable routing behind the panel.
