Key specifications

• Port count: 16 RJ-45 connectors
• Supported cable category: Cat6
• Housing colour: Grey
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801 E compliant

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a compatible rack or cabinet location and secure it according to the rack or cabinet manufacturer’s instructions. Terminate each incoming horizontal cable onto the rear IDC punch-down or termination points, following Cat6 wiring color codes and ensuring tight, correct pair alignment. Connect active network devices or switches to the front RJ-45 ports using patch cords rated for Cat6 or higher. Label each port to match your cable plan for easier identification and future maintenance.

Recommendations

Use shielded or unshielded Cat6 cables consistent with your existing cabling scheme, avoid excessive cable bends and maintain recommended separation from power lines to preserve signal quality. For best results, test each link after termination with a certified cable tester and document port assignments.
