Trendnet TC-P24C6AS patch panel

Trendnet TC-P24C6AS is a 1U rack-mountable 24-port Cat6A shielded patch panel designed for Gigabit and 10G Copper Ethernet networks. The panel features gold-plated connector contacts and supports Cat6A shielded cabling to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain data integrity and reliable high-speed performance.

Advantages

The shielded design and Cat6A compatibility provide improved protection against EMI and crosstalk compared with unshielded panels. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections and corrosion resistance. Its 1U form factor and standard rack width make it suitable for organized cable management in server rooms and network racks.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet installations
• Gigabit Ethernet networks
• Cat6A shielded cabling systems
• Rack-mounted patching and cable management in data centers and server rooms

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate screws and cage nuts. Terminate Cat6A shielded cables to the corresponding RJ45 ports following T568A or T568B wiring standards and ensure proper grounding of the cable shield to the rack or patch panel ground point. Route and label cables to maintain an organised layout and to simplify future maintenance.

Recommendations

Use this patch panel with shielded Cat6A cabling and proper grounding practices to achieve optimal 10G and Gigabit Ethernet performance; avoid mixing shielded and unshielded cabling within the same rack segment to prevent potential grounding and interference issues.
