Wirewin WKS JACK KAT6A STP EA 48 huzalcsatlakozó

The Wirewin WKS JACK KAT6A STP EA 48 is a metal shielded RJ45 jack designed for Cat6a installations where reliable high-speed data transmission and space-efficient mounting are required. Supplied in packs of 48 pieces and available in grey and yellow, the connector features a slim metal housing and STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) design to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in demanding network environments.

Advantages

The metal construction provides mechanical durability and effective shielding against external noise. Its slim form factor permits installation in crowded patch panels and limited-depth enclosures. Shielded contacts and a robust STP design contribute to consistent performance at higher frequencies typical for Cat6a applications. Supplied in bulk packs of 48, the product supports larger installation projects with fewer package changes.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (Cat6a) in offices and data centers
• Patching and termination in shielded network cabinets and panels
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference, such as near industrial equipment
• Bulk installations requiring multiple identical connectors for consistency

Key specifications

• Cable category compatibility: Cat6a (10 Gbps)
• Shielding: STP (shielded twisted pair) with metal housing
• Material: metal housing with conductive shielding
• Color options: grey and yellow
• Form factor: slim / low-profile RJ45 jack
• Pack quantity: 48 pieces per pack

How to use

Prepare the Cat6a cable by stripping the outer jacket and arranging the twisted pairs according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the conductors into the jack following the color-coded positions, ensure the shield drain wire makes contact with the metal housing, and secure the termination using the recommended punch-down or insertion tool. After termination, test the connection with a certified network tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance up to Cat6a frequencies.

Recommendations

Use the connector in properly grounded shielded installations to achieve the intended STP performance. Maintain pair twist length as close as possible to the termination point and avoid untwisting more than necessary. For best results in high-density assemblies, plan cable routing to minimize bend radius and mechanical stress on the slim jack housing.
