XLR Quad audiokábel Kramer Electronics 1,8 m

The Kramer Electronics XLR Quad Style audio cable (1.8 m) is a professional-grade mic and line level cable with a 3-pin male XLR on one end and a 3-pin female XLR on the other. The four-conductor star quad design and mutually offset twisting technology substantially reduce induction noise compared with standard two-pair balanced microphone cables, making this black cable suitable for demanding audio connections between microphones, mixers and other pro audio equipment.

Advantages

The quad conductor arrangement cancels electromagnetically induced interference from lighting ballasts and AC transformers. A large number of thin bare copper strands in both conductors and shield provide high flexibility for routing and frequent handling. Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation offers stable electrical characteristics and resists shrink-back during soldering, and the cable is fitted with hand-soldered premium XLR connectors. Available in a wide range of standard lengths.

Suitable for

• Microphone connections in studios and live sound
• Connecting mixers, preamps and audio interfaces
• Stage and broadcast installations where low induced noise is required

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the male XLR to the input of the mixer, preamp or microphone receiver and the female XLR to the microphone or other output device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends near the connectors. Route the cable away from power transformers and large lighting fixtures when possible to minimize residual interference, and secure with cable ties or clips during use.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Kramer XLR quad cable for critical mic-level runs in studio or live environments; if soldering connectors, allow the XLPE insulation to cool naturally and inspect solder joints for solidity. Store coiled without tight kinks and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources.
