EFB Elektronik EC020100002 patch panel 19 inch 1HE 24 port

The EFB Elektronik EC020100002 19" 1U 24-port patch panel is a standard rack-mounted component for structured cabling systems. It fits into a 19-inch equipment rack and provides 24 RJ45 ports in a single 1U height, enabling tidy consolidation of horizontal cabling and straightforward port access. The panel is intended for installation in server rooms, data centers and network cabinets where defined port grouping and clear labeling are required.

Advantages

This 24-port 1U patch panel offers a compact footprint with high port density, allowing efficient use of rack space. Its standardized 19-inch form factor makes it compatible with common racks and enclosures, while the RJ45 ports support easy plug-and-play connections for Ethernet links. The panel is designed for neat cable routing and labeling to simplify maintenance and reduce troubleshooting time.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted network installations in server rooms and data centers
• Structured cabling projects in offices and commercial buildings
• Consolidation of horizontal cabling from multiple work areas
• Environments requiring clear port labeling and organized patching

Key specifications

• Form factor: 19-inch, 1U height
• Number of ports: 24 RJ45 ports
• Port type: Keystone RJ45 (Ethernet patching)
• Mounting: Front-mounted to standard 19" rack
• Material and finish: metal chassis with protective coating for durability
• Labeling: front panel labeling area for port identification

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack occupying one unit of rack height (1U). Terminate the horizontal cables to the rear side of the panel according to the chosen wiring scheme (e.g., T568A or T568B) and secure the connections following standard cabling practices. Use the RJ45 ports on the front for patch cords to network equipment. Ensure ports are labeled clearly and route patch cords to avoid sharp bends and interference.

Recommendations

For reliable network performance, follow industry cabling standards during termination, use appropriately rated patch cords, and maintain proper cable management. Verify wiring continuity after installation and keep the panel accessible for future changes.
