Renkforce patch panel 12-port CAT6, 1U rack, 001485575 modell

The Renkforce 12‑Port CAT6 patch panel in a 1U rack housing is engineered to terminate and organize Ethernet cabling in server rooms, network racks and telecom cabinets. This compact 1U module offers twelve CAT6 keystone-style ports that support structured connections for Gigabit Ethernet, allowing clearer cable runs, easier port labelling and orderly patching for network installers and administrators.

Advantages

This 1U CAT6 patch panel provides a compact and durable rack‑mount solution for consolidating horizontal cabling. The standardized port spacing and solid metal housing reduce clutter in patch fields and protect termination points. Using CAT6 rated ports preserves the performance characteristics of category‑rated cabling, helping to maintain reliable Gigabit connections and minimize signal loss across short horizontal links. Front‑facing ports facilitate quick access while the rear terminations keep cable management tidy.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Termination and organization of horizontal Ethernet cabling in server rooms and wiring closets
• Structured patching in small to medium enterprise network racks
• Upgrading existing 1U racks to CAT6 capable patching
• Temporary or permanent installations in telecom cabinets and data cabinets

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack mount module suitable for standard 19" racks
• Number of ports: 12 front‑facing CAT6 keystone ports
• Category: CAT6 compatible ports for Gigabit Ethernet applications
• Material: metal housing designed for rack installation and mechanical protection
• Mounting: standard rack screw mounting for 1U height

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" rack at a convenient height for cable access. Terminate horizontal twisted‑pair cables to the rear termination points following T568A or T568B wiring schemes, ensuring proper pair alignment and secure connections. Label each front port according to your network documentation for straightforward identification. Connect patch cords from active network equipment to the front ports to complete links for switches, routers or wall outlets.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use CAT6 or better cabling and maintain correct pair termination and cable management practices to avoid excessive untwist or sharp bends. Keep patch cords short in dense racks to reduce crosstalk, and document port assignments to simplify maintenance and future changes.
