Renkforce rack patch panel 8-port CAT6 1U (001485574 modell)

Renkforce 8-Port CAT6 1U rack-mount patch panel is designed for structured cabling in server rooms, network closets and small office racks. The panel provides eight CAT6 RJ45 terminations in a compact 1U metal housing with front-facing, clearly labeled ports that simplify connection and maintenance of Ethernet links. It organizes horizontal cabling runs, offers consistent connection points and helps maintain signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet networks.

Advantages

The patch panel consolidates multiple Ethernet runs into a single, accessible unit, reducing cable clutter and making changes or troubleshooting faster. Front labels identify each port for straightforward patching, while the 1U form factor saves rack space. Compatibility with CAT6 cabling ensures performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and supports standard installation practices for professional network environments.

Suitable for

• Small business and office networks
• Server rooms and data cabinets
• Telecommunications closets and wiring panels
• Home labs and compact rack installations

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 8 RJ45 ports
• Cable category: CAT6 compatible
• Mounting height: 1U rack-mount
• Front panel with port labeling for easy identification
• Material: metal housing for durability and grounding

How to use

Install the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack occupying a single 1U space and secure with appropriate rack screws. Terminate CAT6 cables on the rear IDC or punch-down connections according to T568A or T568B wiring standards, then connect patch cords to the front RJ45 ports to link switches, routers or other network devices. Ensure proper cable management and strain relief to maintain connection stability and reduce mechanical stress on terminations.

Recommendations

Use certified CAT6 cable and adhere to recommended wiring standards when terminating to preserve signal performance. Allow slack and use cable organizers or horizontal managers to prevent bend radius violations. Periodically verify connections and labeling to maintain an orderly rack and simplify future changes.
